Nicholas Simon // Executive Producer
After graduating from Columbia University in New York, Nicholas re-located to Vietnam to pursue a career in journalism, and through a series of luck, networking, and serendipity found himself working as a producer on features such as ‘CITY OF GHOSTS’ and ‘ACT OF VALOR’, and in exotic locations in of Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. P. Air is a veteran producer with over 20 years experience in the film industry. An experienced banker and production manager Lylie combines responsible fiscal management and production insight to produce projects on time and within budget. His dual capacity as production manager and financial controller has allowed him to work on feature films and TV commercials in the United States and South-East Asia. Shawn Simon // EVP – Features and TV
Shawn (Hopkins) Simon started working for super agent Robert Newman one week out of UC Berkeley. Next as an associate in acquisitions at Universal Pictures, she screened films for Gramercy Pictures. In 1995, Polygram hired her as manager of acquisitions, working with satellites co’s Working Title, Interscope and Propaganda Films. In 1998 Shawn transitioned to literary representation joining Mike Ovitz and Rick Yorn’s Artist Management Group (AMG). Starting in 2003 at Anonymous Content, her clients included Sundance Festival winner Debra Granik (WINTER’S BONE, for which Shawn served as Executive Producer). In 2010 at the Gotham Group, Shawn signed BAFTA winners Michael Samuels and novelist William Boyd (ANY HUMAN HEART), Emmy winner Brian Percival (DOWNTON ABBEY) and Susan Boyd (upcoming Highsmith adaptation A KIND OF MURDER). Benoit Jaubert // EVP European Features and TV
Benoît started working in the French movie industry at Les Productions Lazennec in Paris in the 90’s. In 1995, after production supervising Tran Anh Hung’s Venice Golden Lion winning CYCLO in Ho Chi Minh City, he founded Lazennec Vietnam (later Sud Est Production). Partnering with Liberation Film Studio, Benoit created the first production service and domestic film and tv production company in Vietnam. In 1999, Benoît line produced Tran Anh Hung’s VERTICLE RAY OF THE SUN in Hanoi and then departed to re-establish himself in Paris.
